My name is Amy Colombo! I am a former PreK teacher, children's advocate, and the creator of Teach Kind Today...
A special space where I share social-emotional learning resources that I've written and teach to help children build confidence, empathy, and truly meaningful connections.
For more than a decade, I’ve had the absolute joy of developing and presenting an engaging anti-bullying assembly, a girls' empowerment curriculum, and interactive workshops for all ages. My goal is always to encourage strong character, healthy relationships, and a deep compassion for others.
Inspired by my daughter and my wonderful experiences as both a teacher and a craft studio owner, I love combining practical strategies with heart-centered, creative lessons. I want every single child to feel seen, heard, and valued! To keep bringing the best to my work, my ongoing studies in psychology and education continue to shape how I empower young people and foster kindness in classrooms, teams, and communities.
Through my writing and programs, I hope to inspire children to embrace their unique strengths, treat others with kindness, and develop the confidence to make positive choices. I truly believe that when young people feel valued and connected, they are empowered to overcome challenges and make a beautiful difference in their schools, communities, and the world!
