Amy Colombo is a former PreK teacher, children's advocate, and creator of Teach Kind Today, a website that highlights the social-emotional learning resources she has designed to help children build confidence, empathy, and meaningful connections.

For more than a decade, Amy has developed and presented an engaging anti-bullying assembly, a girls' empowerment curriculum, and interactive workshops for all ages and backgrounds that encourage strong character, healthy relationships, and compassion for others.

Inspired by her daughter and her experience as both a teacher and craft studio owner, Amy combines practical strategies with heart-centered and creative lessons that help children feel seen, heard, and valued. Her ongoing studies in psychology and education continue to shape her approach to empowering young people and fostering kindness in classrooms, teams, and communities.

Through her writing and programs, Amy hopes to inspire children to embrace their unique strengths, treat others with kindness, and develop the confidence to make positive choices. She believes that when young people feel valued and connected, they are empowered to overcome challenges and make a positive difference in their schools, communities, and the world.
